Checkin Hero and Confident Stay

Checkin Hero and Confident Stay are optional add-ons your guest can buy at the end of verification. They help your guest if something goes wrong with their check-in or their stay. Truvi handles any request directly with your guest. 

When your guest is offered them

Your guest is only offered them if your program includes ID Verification, Criminal Background Check or Sex Offender Check.

Both are selected by default under Guest Products when you create a program. To stop offering them, deselect them in your program.

What each one covers

  • Checkin Hero: if your guest can’t check in because the property is inaccessible or uninhabitable, Truvi tries to resolve it. If that isn’t possible, Truvi helps cover the cost of alternative accommodation.
  • Confident Stay: if an issue affects the property during the stay, Truvi tries to resolve it and may reimburse your guest.

Neither is an insurance policy. The full terms are in the Checkin Hero terms and the Confident Stay terms.

What it means for you

You don’t need to do anything. Truvi reviews requests and reimburses your guest directly.

Checkin Hero doesn’t refund the original booking. Under its terms, your guest must ask you or the booking platform for that.
