Set up your account
There are 3 steps to completing the sign-up process: adding your listings, applying a program to them, and adding your card details.
If you'd rather watch, see our onboarding tour.
Add your listings
Pick the option that matches how you take bookings.
If you use a property management system (PMS)
A PMS is the software you use to manage your listings and bookings. Connect it and your listings and bookings import automatically.
Find your PMS in the list and select it. If you're already in your dashboard, open Settings, then Integrations, and scroll the list to find your PMS. Both take you to the same screen.
Then follow the guide for your PMS.
Your listings appear within about a minute. After that, they update every 24 hours, so a listing you add in your PMS can take up to a day to appear.
If you only list on Airbnb
Connect Airbnb directly. You don't need a PMS.
Find Airbnb in the list and select it. If you're already in your dashboard, open Settings, then Integrations, and scroll the list to find Airbnb.
Then follow Integrate Airbnb without a PMS.
If you add your listings yourself
Use this if your PMS isn't in the list, or you take bookings on your own site. It also works if you only have a few properties and want to add them one at a time.
Click Add listings manually and fill in the details of each property. If you're already in your dashboard, open Listings and click Create listing.
Bookings for these listings don't import automatically. See How your bookings reach Truvi below.
Apply a program
You'll see the programs available to you, each with its price per booking. Pick one, or create your own.
To see what each screening and protection product does, see What each product does.
Your listings stay switched off until a program is applied to them. To apply or change a program later, see Apply a program to your listings and Create your own program.
Add your card
Truvi asks for your card as the last step of sign-up. To change it later, open Settings, then Billing, then click Add payment method.
For how and when you're charged, see Manage your billing and invoices.
After you've set up
How your bookings reach Truvi
If you connected a PMS or Airbnb, your bookings import automatically. Your Bookings page updates every 15 minutes.
If you added your listings yourself, Truvi can't see your bookings automatically. Every booking has to be added, either by you or by your guest.
To enter it yourself, open Bookings and click Add booking. You'll need the guest's name, email, phone number and the booking dates. The booking will appear in your dashboard right away. See Add a booking yourself.
To have your guest enter it, send them a One-Step Link. They fill in their own details, pick the listing they booked, and enter their dates.
A One-Step Link saves you entering the details, but the booking doesn't exist in Truvi until your guest finishes the link, so it isn't screened or protected until then. Keep track of which guests have completed it and follow up with the ones who haven't. See One-Step Link.
If a guest damages your property
Claims are handled in the Truvi Resolution Center, a separate site you sign in to with your dashboard login.
Submit a claim in the Truvi Resolution Center and no later than 30 days after the check-out date.
