1. Account Setup & Verification
Getting Your Account Ready
Welcome to Truvi! Here's how to get your account up and running in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Verify Your Email
After signing up, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link to confirm your email address.
Step 2: Complete Your Profile
Once verified, you'll see your pre-populated details. Review these and make any necessary changes, then:
- Set your password
- Accept our privacy policy
- Accept our terms and conditions
Step 3: Welcome to Your Dashboard
Once setup is complete, you'll land on your dashboard—this is your home page. Here you'll see a checklist of next steps to get fully onboarded.

Connecting Your Properties
Getting Your Listings into Truvi
You have three ways to connect your properties to Truvi: through a PMS integration, directly from Airbnb, or by adding listings manually.
Option 1: Connect Through Your PMS
If you use a property management system, you can sync your listings automatically.
How to Connect:
- Go to Settings
- Click Integrations
- Scroll through the list of PMSs we integrate with
- Find your PMS and click Connect
- Follow the prompts to authorize the connection

Option 2: Connect Airbnb Directly (Without a PMS)
If you list on Airbnb but don't use a PMS, you can connect directly.
How to Connect:
- Go to Settings
- Click Integrations
- Scroll down to find Airbnb
- Click Connect to get started

Option 3: Add Listings Manually
Perfect if you only have a few properties or want to add them one at a time.
How to Add a Listing:
- From your dashboard home page, click Create listings manually
- Enter your listing's name
- Enter your listing's address
- Verify the information is correct
- Click Create listing
Your new listing will now appear under the Listings tab.
Adding Multiple Listings
To add more properties, go to the Listings tab and click Create listings. Repeat the process for each property.
Setting Up Screening and Protection Programs
Choosing the Right Protection for Your Properties
Programs are how you apply Truvi's products to your listings. Think of them as bundles of protection and screening services.
Understanding Programs
Programs live in the Programs tab. This is where you'll find:
- Preset programs: Ready-made combinations of our products
- Custom programs: Programs you've built yourself with specific products
Creating a Custom Program
Want to tailor protection to specific properties? Build your own program.
How to Create:
- Go to the Programs tab
- Click Create program
- Pick and choose the products that best fit your listing needs
- Review the summary showing:
- Your selected products
- The program price
- Click Continue to save
Your new program will now appear in your Programs tab alongside preset options.
Add Payment Details
You will be asked to provide a credit card payment detail before applying the program to your chosen listing.
We'll automatically debit this card each month based on your program usage. You can update these details anytime in the Billing tab.
Applying Programs to Your Listings
Once you've created or selected a program, it's time to activate it.
How to Apply:
- From the Programs tab, select the program you want to use
- Click Apply to listings
- Choose which listings should use this program:
- Apply to all listings, OR
- Select multiple specific listings from the dropdown
- Decide when the program takes effect:
- Apply to existing bookings with future check-in dates, OR
- Apply only to new bookings made after today
- Review your selections
- Click Confirm to activate
Done! Your program is now protecting your chosen listings.
Add a manual Booking
If you add listings manually or need to create a booking outside your PMS, here's how to do it in Truvi.
Adding a Manual Booking
How to Add:
- Go to the Bookings tab
- Click Add booking
- Select your listing from the dropdown menu
- Note: The listing must be active and have a program assigned to appear here
- Enter the check-in date
- Enter the check-out date
- Add your guest's details:
- Full name
- Email address
- Contact phone number
- Review all information for accuracy
- Click Finalize
Your booking now appears in the Bookings tab.
Filing a Claim
Start your claim as soon as possible after discovering damage. The sooner you report it, the faster we can help.
